| I have a Sipura 3000 with PSTN line. Often it will completely lock up the WAN/internet (ie: cannot even get pings out), but not the local network (of 4 pcs). It sometimes does this even when using the pstn line through a dialplan I have set up for #0xxxxxxxxxx to go to gw0. When this happens, even though the handset goes dead, the WAN/internet stays locked up until I actually hang up the phone. It makes no sense to me at all and only happens at the instigation of phone calls, and it is intermittent. Nothing else including bittorrent causes the same effect (bt is not generally running when the problem occurs so is not a factor) I have tried a SPA2000 and the same problem (minus obviously the PSTN aspect) occurs so I don't think it is a faulty unit but rather a setting I have wrong or some incompatibility. There is not a great amount of traffic coming from the SPA3K when it does this. I have syslogged but the results mean nothing to me. My ISP connection is different to most. It is relatively fast - available bandwith is generally (500000bps-1000000bps) down and (300000bps-1000000) up. Latency is generally very good at 15-25ms (1400 byte packets) from me to ISP (192.168.94.1) and ok times from the physical location of the ISP to locations on the internet. I dont know if the network contributes to this problem but I include the topology for completeness as it is very different and a little complicated. +SPA3K 10.10.11.246 (local subnet 10.10.11.0/24) +Local 10/100 Switch +PC1 with 10/100 Card (A) for LAN +PC1 Running Intel VLAN card (3 VLANs defined on card 1) ISP Internet[vlan25] (192.168.94.0/24) 2) ISP LAN[vlan17] (192.168.20/0/24) 3) ISP Wireless Units [vlan5] (10.0.3.0/24) IPCop running on PC1 bridged to card (A) for LAN (10.10.11.254 gateway) and card (B) for ISP internet 192.168.94.10 +Wireless Antenna at my end +ISP wireless Antenna (few of these in the route) +Snapgear SOHO+ Router at ISP 192.168.94.1 configured to DMZ everything to 192.168.94.10 I would appreciate any input into this and help in diagnosing the problem. If my sipura settings or syslogs would help etc please advise. Thanks |

| Basically there seems to be some major incompatibility between the sipura units and the Alvarion Breeze connect systems. If no-one here has any answers could someone please advise who I can contact for a resolution. Have sent emails to sipura support but to date they have been unanswered. Thanks |
