Default Sipura 2K Hardware Burnout?

I have had a Sipura 2K for about 8 months now. And when I went to make a call, no dialtone. I tried to access the web, no web access. I went to check it and it appeared to be powered down. Made sure it was plugged in, and it is.

Appears to have gone kaput, with no forewarning. There were no power surges, as other items are connected to the same power strip (including a Sipura 3K). Any ideas?

No smell of smoke...

Do you have a voltmeter? I would suspect the power supply brick before the main unit. There should be 5VDC coming out of the power supply. If the power supply is dead you can replace it with any regular electronic store power supply that can deliver at least 2 Amperes of power at 5VDC.

Also, I would check my mains connections. Did your SPA come with a European plug adapter or an American plug adapter? If you have the American plug, are you using a physical adapter or a step-down transformer for connecting to your mains? I would use only a physical adapter and I would check that out to make sure your problem isn't there.

Good luck to you. I would bet that your problem is in your power supply and not in the ATA, making it much easier to diagnose and correct the problem.

Same here. I have four SP2000. Two worked for over 1/2 year and then no more lights. I tested with different power adaptors..no luck.
I have 2 that stopped getting IP address from routers. Any router. DHCP enabled. I tried to reset the units but still no ip address. Recycling did not help either.
Over the last 1o months or so I now have had 6 or 7 units go bad. Voxilla replaced the first few. I guess I shall have to mail these back too. I wonder how many users have had this kind of luck?

The devices have a one-year warranty, so don't wait too long before sending them back.
