Default Sipura 2000 problems "Can't connect to login server&quo

Hi

I have the Sipura 2000, the problem I get sometimes is that the line 2
light is off if I check the ATA with the web I can see that the
Registration State: is "Can't connect to login server" and the Next
Registration In: is over 1000 sec. even that in the settings in Line 2
I have to Register Expires: 30

I can understant that occasionally it might not be able to connect but
why is the Next registration so high.

Any ideas why does it happen?

I left everything as default except the NAT options that I changed to
yes to test with the same result.

I'm using for line 2 a provider in Ireland http://blueface.ie with the
configuration as http://www.blueface.ie/support/sipura.aspx

I never have any problems with line 1.

My setup is a belkin Wireless router with a ATA connected to the Lan
port and the PC via a weireless card.

Is there a log file in the sipura ATA that I can look at that will show me the activity on it, I realy want to know how often is hapening. If there's can someone let me know how to open it.

Thanks

Thanks

There is a parameter in Line 1 and Line 2 configuration "Register Expires" that define how often registration occurs. Change this to something like 30 so your Sipura will REGISTER every 30 seconds. No recomended in stable environment.

Sipura logging utility can be downloaded here http://www.sipura.com/support/slogsrv.zip

In system tab configure the address of the computer running slogsrv.exe. Configure also Debug level 3. In Line 1 or Line 2 configure debug level to full.

Hi jcgalvezv

THANKS very much for the quick reply, I have it setup and will leave it running for a a day or 2 to check how it gets on.

The "Register Expires" is at 30 so will leave it as it is.

Is there any other useful tools from sipura?

Thanks Again

I don't know about other utilities, but you could check here http://sipura.com/support/index.htm.

Rather than other utilities, I would like to get slogsrv.exe debug information interpretation manual.

Hi

I discover what the problem was, the DNS were incorrect, I had the DNS for the router as Primary and as secondary i had the DNS of the computer I was using last time I made changes that was the DNS for work.

I change it since them and all works ok.

Thanks
