Default SAP3000 - call transfer and Blind call transfer

Linksys SPA942 Linksys SPA942
Stylish and sturdy 2- or 4-line business IP phone with 2 RJ-45s and Power Over Ethernet.
Price: $149.95
Hello,

I have some problem wiht the (blind) call transfer

I read the manual (user guide) page 76
What I need to do is a call transfer.

* I did call a guy
* press the switch hook (-> on hold)
* dial *98 (which is pre-difined)
* dial a new number, via my gateway gw0
* could hear the 3 tones, then the dial tone....
* when I hang up.... of course I loose everybody :-(

then I try the Attendant transfer
* dial a colleague
* switch hook (-> on hold)
*dial another number (via gw0)
* when answering, put on hold
* could hear 2 "bip"
-> we are talking all together (3 people)
If I hang up, the 2 communications stop !!

seems to be more a conference call than a transfer

- Do you see what I missing ?
- what is exactly the difference between the 2 proceudres ?

I just want to transfer a basic phone call !! :-(

Ta.

Stephane

Default RE: SAP3000 - call transfer and Blind call transfer

In the middle of the Line 1 page are two parameters, "Blind Attn-Xfer Enable" and "Xfer When Hangup Conf". Are these set to "yes" on your SPA?
