With the strapping of the FXS and FXO ports you are doing voip to voip calling. If you don't get a disconnect of your voip line I believe it basically is a problem with one of your voip providers not properly responding to sip BYE signalling that is sent. The solution that is provided by the SPA3000/3102 is either "Detect Voip Long Silence" and/or "Detect PSTN Long Silence" where the default in either setting is 30-seconds. If you activate one or both of these settings you may get sometimes get a premature disconnect of a call but it may be the only solution that will work with your situation.

I tried a some tests on my SPA3000 and in some cases it worked properly, in other cases with one DID voip provider in particular the 30-second silence disconnect was required.
