Hi all, I am new to this forum, so pls excuse my ignorance. I have a SPA3102 that have successfully configured Line 1 to use my VoIP provider, Galaxy Voice. I now want to have the box forward call to my cell phone when I am not at home, etc. As mentioned I can make and receive calls using VoIP. When I plug my PSTN line into the Line jack on the box The status is unregistered. I read somwhere that I need to setup a virtual account/number for the PSTN Line. Can someone pls tel me what to put in the proxy and registration area under the PSTN tab? Another simple question, How do you access the PSTN line from the telephone set attached to the box? Thanks. |

| Thanks for the response. Just a couple more questions. Why does the status of the PSTN line says someting like "not registered?" What if I want to call into the PSTN number to access the box to use my VoIP account? Do you creat a similar DIAL plan for the PSTN line? Did I misinterpret where someone stated that you must configure the proxy and registration section under PSTN? Pls clarify. Thanks. |

The pstn line tab defaults to a dial plan of (xx.) which says you can dial any digits from 0 thru 9. If you wish to bridge an incoming pstn call, if you have "Ring Thru To Line 1" set to yes, the phone will first "ring thru" to the phone attached to the adapter for the number of seconds in the PSTN Answer Delay (default is 16 seconds) before the pstn-to-VoIP gateway gives you the dial tone for dialing the VoIP call. | Hi all, Just getting back to this. I tried to append the dial plan suggested here, but it did not work. Then that dial plan is added to the Line 1 settings it causes me to get a dial tone and then a busy tone. Any ideas? |

| The dial plan I posted |<#9,:>xx.<:@gw0>] has a typo error for the last character that I didn't previously notice. It should be |<#9,:>xx.<:@gw0>| The | characters are used to delineate elements in a dial plan. |

| Thanks for reply. Now I am just realizing that I am not getting audio when I receive calls. The caller also does not hear anything. A configuration Problem? The box is basically at default settings, with Line 1 registered. Any Ideas? |

| Audio problems are usually caused by the way your router works. I would try the following: Line 1 tab: NAT Mapping Enable: YES NAT Keep Alive Enable: YES Sip tab: Substitute VIA Addr:YES Send Resp To Src Port:YES STUN Enable:YES STUN Server:stun.softjoys.com (or any other STUN server) |

| Okay I configured box as suggested, but problem persist. Could it be VoIP provider related? |
