| I am getting ready to use Voicepulse as my voip provider. My question is which is better for me to buy, the spa-2000 or 3000? i will be setting up 2 separate lines from them. will the 3000 offer me anything more than i need as a basic user or will the 2000 do the job fine? thanks for your help |

| As far as I know, SPA3000 doesn't let you setup 2 concurrent incoming lines. You can have many Outgoing accounts, even from different serivce providers by using Gateways, but incoming only one. The MAIN advantage of the 3000 is the FXO-FXS gateway, which will let you dial into your VoIP a/c thru the PSTN line remotely, and forward VoIP calls to another number (your cell, office no etc) thru the PSTN line while u're away from home.

I've used SPA3000 setup script: http://voxilla.com/spa3kconfig.php and yes, I can make a call for example via FWD but when somebody calls my line from outside and I pick up the line I can not hear anything but and the outside line is still ringing. When I dial "#9" I have no outside dial tone. So what is the right setup for this unit I don't know. I can hardly get any support here, most of the time you will get a reply that will point you to link as a solution. I'll see what kind of reply I will get from Sipura tomorrow. If I can not get it to work I'll be returning this unit. #Joseph |

| Based on other items you sent into support, I think it might be a bad unit. I forwarded your information over to Sipura to see what they had to say.
