 PAP2T takes 10 seconds to start a call Hi Aall. I have a PAP2T that generally functions perrfectly well. Just recently I have installed trixbox (a front end to Asterisk). I have not problems connecting my PAP2T to the Tixbox PC and have not problems receiving or making calls....EXCEPT....when I make a call from a phone connected to the PAP2T to say another extension ( a sofphone in this case) it takes 10...yes 10 seconds from pressing the talk button to dial the phone to when the other extension starts to ring ! If I make a cal from a softphone to another softphone or the sofphone to uniden phone, it rings straight away. I have done a little digging of this forum, but not seen anything that helps. I thought the suggestion about using dialing plans was the answer....but I dont have dialing plans enabled :-( Anyone got any suggestions that I can try to see if I can speed it up?
