Default One way voice, only when using sip minutes Sip to Sip is OK

hi all,

its pretty strange. I have set up SPA 1001 in India and it works fine for SIP to SIP calls. The voice is great and two way voice is not an issue. But the problem comes when my uncle tries to call a PSTN number.. He could hear our voices but we couldnt not hear from his side..

Sipphone.com is the provider and Sip Minutes are purchased and are active in the account.. Its really a mystery for me why this is happening.. This is an serious issue for my uncle as he wants to do some business in Europe and USA..

Any suggestions..

Thankx a ton.

Try assigning a fixed IP to your SPA, and then forward ports 5060-5065 and 16200-16500 to that IP.

You could ALSO try using a Stun server to help with your SIP transport.
