| Hi All, Having been through a number of reviews and comments I opted to get a Sipura 3000. I did some research and set up with sipgate.co.uk account using the tools section on this site and very pleased all works I did this to get rid of my NTL analogue line, hence do not have a normal phone line plugged to the unit just a analogue handset to answer calls. Being a novice, I was over the moon when everything worked. Now being more adventurous I am trying to set up multiple (1 other for the time being ) outgoing account hence when a call is made from the handset it is routed through call1889 rather than sipgate (as some calls are cheaper, this is just a eg others may be cheaper/free). I've read: http://voxilla.com/forum-viewtopic-t-302.html although can anyone help with a step by step guide to how to set this up (ie a 2nd ... 3rd account etc) I am confused with dial plans etc... I have the details from the 2nd SIP account provider, what screens do I need to enter things on etc... (I've looked on Google for about 3 hours and could not find such a guide) Kind Regards PJ |

BTW: Another change you can make is to include a trailing "<#:>S0 " (don't forget the space after the zero), before the "<:@GW1>" used to pick the gateway provider. This change is again a matter of taste, as this change would require you to press the "#" at the end of the dialing sequence (i.e. one extra digit to dial). But the advantage of this change, is that the call goes out ASAP (no dialing "timeout" issues) as soon as you press the trailing "#". The final pattern (for the alternate provider) would then look like: "<#1:>xx.<#:>S0 <:@GW1>" BTW: If you really want "fun and games" with Sipura adapters (including instructions about using multiple providers on an SPA3000), head on over to this BroadBandReports forum thread: http://www.broadbandreports.com/foru...13657675?r=337 |

i.e. don't you need the ":" character after the comma? |

| hello and sorry for offtopic but... can also the VoIP2 configured in PSTNLine tab be used for ringing on FXS? maybe someone found out the way to have 2 VoIP accounts on SPA3000? thank you! |

However, I have since purchased an SPA3000, and I still haven't managed to successfully get the SPA-3000's PSTN VoIP provider to "ring" the phone on the SPA-3000 (even with clever attempts to "forward" the call). I, like you, thought that would be a nice way to get a 2nd "incomming line", for those of us who don't need/use the VoIP<=>PSTN gateway functions of the adapter. But so far I haven't found a setup that makes this work. However, it is pretty easy to use the 4 (line 1) "gateway" slots of the SPA3000, to have 4 additional "outbound only" providers on top of the main "Line 1" provider (the main provider allowing for both inbound and outbound calls). And on top of that, you can play "dial plan" games (see that thread I posted) to make calls to any number of "open" SIP gateways, that don't require you to log into them. This makes it pretty easy to have 1 bi-directional VoIP account + 4 outbound VoIP accounts + any number of outbound open SIP gateways + whatever you have hooked up to the device's "line"/FXO port, all on the same SPA-3000. FWIW: My SPA3000 is currently setup with "free world dialup" (both directions) + DialPad.com (outbound only) + Teliax.com (outbound only) + SIPphone (outbound only open proxy, doesn't use a gateway slot). And I still have 2 open "gateway" slots + the "Line"/FXO port still unused on my adapter! So you can still do a lot of VoIP providers on a single SPA-3000. But I agree that it would be nice to figure out how to use the VoIP provider on the PSTN side, as an extra "inbound VoIP account". |

another thing is that the number of outgoing gateways is not limited by 4 at all, you may specify the gateway inside your dial plan. surely only those who do not require a registration for outbound calls otherwise Line1/PSTNLine should keep the credentials or such. |
