| | Multiple providers with Sipura 2002 Okay, I have a 2002 and I have one provider set up on line 1 (working fine)
I recently add another provider for line 2, but I am having some problems.
I can make outgoing calls just fine, incoming calls are not working all the time, if I reboot the device I can recieve incoming calls for a period of time then boom they start going right to voicemail again.
Ideas? and what information would you like?
I have a D-Link router 614+
Line 2 is set for port 5061
and it will make outgoing calls just fine, its the incoming that a problem.
Thanks guys for your help

| | RE: Multiple providers with Sipura 2002 I am not familiar with either provider. Please post a configuration snapshot. The way to do this is to log into your device as admin, advanced view. Then do a "Save As" in your web browser and post the resulting HTML file. No passwords will be saved.

| | RE: Re: Multiple providers with Sipura 2002 I have a Linksys PAP2-NA that exhibits similar symptoms. In my case, I've got voipbuster configured to line #1 and sipgate for line #2. As the original poster observed, after resetting the PAP, you can successfully call line #2 once or twice - but from then on, it goes to voicemail.
In case anyone wants it, I've attached my configuration summary.

| | RE: Re: Multiple providers with Sipura 2002 It's hard to tell for sure, since you didn't post the Admin pages of your configuration, but one thing still sticks out. In your Line 2 info it shows Next Registration In: 2951 s. This is probably long past when sipgate expects to hear from you again. You need to Reregister within the time frame your provider specifies or their SIP server will assume that you have gone away and will deny you service. If you cannot learn from sipgate what interval they require, try reducing this number to 60 seconds and see what happens.

| | Thanks mberlant. Your suggestion makes sense. Reducing the "register expires" to 60 (secs) indeed cured the problem and I can now receive calls on line #2.
I went back and looked at the settings recommended by sipgate - and they recommend 3600 - which is what I had. Yet as you observed - this was causing a timeout. Indeed 3600 works fine when I configure the PAP2 to just use sigpgate (on line #1). It's as if this only occurs when I'm trying to use two different providers.
Curiously I've just looked at the status for line #1 (voipbuster) and the status value in its "next registration" field is always less than 60 secs - even though its "register expires" setting is still 3600. I would have expected it to suffer similar timeout problems - but am not. Curious. Maybe for line #1, something else is causing it to re-register more frequently.
