Default Multiple Outgoing, Multiple Incoming. Any Sipuras do this?

Linksys SPA9000 Linksys SPA9000 PBX
A full-featured key system/PBX hybrid with 4 or more Linksys business phones (upgradable to 16).
Price: $299.95
I have done a fair bit or searching, but I cant find a hardware that does the following:

* Receive incoming calls on multiple providers, to 1 phone
* Make outgoing calls to multiple providers, from 1 phone

Basically I need to receive and make phone calls, using different providers (atleast 2, although one at a time), from one phone. It would also be nice if the phone rang differently depending on the provider of the incoming call, but thats a bonus.

Does any of the Sipuras do this?

What you need is a sipserver http://sipath.sourceforge.net/weblinks.php
and you can hang your ATA off of that.

This seems to be for Linux operating system only. Also, I presume that your suggestion entails keeping your computer ON all the time. Is there anything for Windows which can used easily by a moderately tech savy home user?

An IP Phone might also be a desirable thing to have here as well. You might also look into the IX67 that we sell in the Voxilla Store, which is a SIP Router that also includes some PBX functionality. It can maintain registrations with multiple providers and ring your ATA (though you won't get different rings for each provider).

There are several options open to you here. Although the IX67 is an excellent solution for a modest implementation, your situation may be too large for it.

You also state a reluctance to dedicate a PC to this application. That leads me to suggest that you get a Linksys WRT54GS (if you don't already have one) and put Asterisk over OpenWRT on that box. You will end up with a 95% functional Asterisk and 100% WiFi router for less than $100 hardware cost and negligible electricity consumption. I have implemented two of these so far, and they work like a champ. The only functions that the Asterisk/OpenWRT cannot support are voice mail and CODEC transcoding, but they handle plenty of simultaneous conversations and as much routing complexity as you can design.

Thank you for your replies.. I dont really want a dedicated machine, so perhaps I'll make do with the Sipura 1001 for now, or hold on until a unit where 1001 and 3000 is merged, which seems like the ultimate adapter..

I am a but surprised that they are not selling adapters where multiple providers on a single phone is possible, after all I would imagine a fair number of people would want one.. I certainly would.

Thanks for the help.

Why can't someone figure out a nice way to do voicemail on these low-end SIP Switch-type things?

The main problem on the IX67 and WRT54GS: no space to store the messages.

As the site says it is a solution using a WRT54G(S) and not for your computer.
