Default FXS port compatibility

Linksys SPA3102 Linksys SPA3102-NA (Unlocked)
Feature-packed successor to the SPA3000, includes VoIP/PSTN gateway, router and latest chipset.
Price: $76.95
If I bring my Sipura over to another country (non-US), will I be able to plug a phone locally available over there to the FXS port, or do I have to bring a US phone with me? I am not very familiar with the phones, are all the phones in the world compatible with each other?

Apart from phones, are there any other compatibility issues I should be aware of?

What about FXO port? Any compatibility issues with different coutry's phone line/wire?

The Sipura should be compatible with different phones. Where you run into issues is the plugs. The Sipura uses RJ11 jacks, they do not use RJ11 jacks in many countries. You might have to bring an adapter along.
