Default Does the SPA-2002 support two concurrent G.729 streams ?

I know the SPA-2100 does support two concurrent G.729 streams after updating the firmware.

The SPA-2002 doesn't include the router part, which I fortunately do not need. However I do need the ability to have two calls using the G.729 codec at the same time. That ability would be my deciding factor in purchasing SPA-2100's or SPA-2002's.

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide about this.

Look at the image at the bottom of this page http://www.sipura.com/products/spa2002.htm. SPA2002 doesn't support two G729 sessions.

Default Thanks

I guess i'll have to dish out the money for SPA-2100's then. Too bad, the 2002 was just right without the excess routing capabilities.

Default RE: Thanks

Even though you don't need the routing capabilities in the SPA-2100 you are paying for the extra horsepower and memory necessary to support the two simultaneous G.729 voice streams.
