Hello all,

Personally, as an individual in Australia, the program had too many issues to deal with in its present form.

Any move to change regions produced errors.

Perhaps the database needs updating?

I plan to be in Manly in January. Great opportunity to check out Australian dialplans. Yes, it could be a database problem but the software needs to be more locale accomodating.

May I suggest that a visit to www.whirlpool.net.au will be helpful. Lots of discussions RE: OZ broadband, Telephony, etc.

I already have >NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2.

Do I still need to install the version 1.1.4322 that the installer is looking for?
If yes, will both .NET versions coexist?

If not, I how do override the installer to use .NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2?
Thanks,

-packetvoice

I have encountered a bug (?) in the program. The moment I use a subsitute in my dial plan, the program automatically inserts spaces in the string. When using the dialing simulator it does not matter, but the moment I cut and paste the dialplan into my SPA-2002, it does not work anymore. The SPA also "dials" the space, causing it to fail. Removing the spaces in between the "<" and ">" solves this problem. (Took me 2 days to figure out... )
For the rest great useful utility!

pzw,

Excellent bug report. I wonder if other Sipura's allow whitespace.

I hope to update the wizard next month but I'm very short on time. The 3rd party grid needs to be removed and replaced with Visual Studio 2005 grid control.

Bob,

Maybe it is good to know that I am using version 3.1.5 of the firmware, which is the latest one according to the Sipura website. I will receive a 3000 next week, and will try it out with the whitespaces in the dialplan to see if it works. I will keep you updated.
