Same problem with my linksys 2102
Is this common or just a simple setting?

In general receiving (user level) VoIP equipment (such as your PAP2) is not responsible for "ring back". That is the responsibility of whatever VoIP company you are using to allow people to call your adapter. And not only is it not your responsibility, there is really little you can adjust on your PAP2 to help in this area...

For example, if you are purchasing telco service from some company (and therefore have an inbound phone number via that company), than if that company isn't supplying "ring back" (to the caller), the problem is with that company (not with your PAP2). So check with your VoIP company's "customer service" folks, and have them look into the problem for you.
