I have a question about calling name display on 941/942 phones... Here's a sample From header: From: Joe User <sip:9995551212@192.168.1.50:5060>;tag=1 where SIP display info = Joe User (user's name) host portion of URI = 9995551212 (user's dir num: 999-555-1212) It appears the default behavior of the 941/942 phones is to display the host portion of the From URI (the directory number) rather than the SIP display info. There is one exception. If the host portion matches a number defined in the phone's built-in personal directory (i.e. n=Joe User;p=9995551212) then both the host portion and the name defined in the directory are displayed. I'd prefer to have the phones display the SIP display info text as received in the From header for incoming calls. Is this configurable? Thanks, Robin. |

| I know there's something in the SPA9000 with regards to this, but have you tried SIP Remote-Party-ID: on the phone? I'm not sure though since the options on the SPA900 are called SIP DIDN Field and SIP DIDN Param Name respectively, and those terms seem much closer to the point. |
