Default Accessing SPA-2100 through router

I just completed the following configuation: DSL modem > SPA-2100 > wireless router. This configuration seems to be working fine, both for the voice calls (on Broadvoice) and data transmissions over the Internet. I configured the SPA by plugging a PC into the SPA's LAN port. After configured, I plugged the router into the LAN port with the PCs attached to the router. Unfortunately, I can't access the web-based configuration utility for the SPA-2100 through the router. Is there a way to configure the SPA-2100 and/or the router so that I can have access to the SPA without plugging a PC into it?

By the way, I have enabled the QoS function on the SPA, which seems to be working well. So far, it hasn't degraded my overall internet connection speed for the PCs. Compared to AT&T's CallVantage service, which I tried for several weeks, the quality of calls through Broadvoice using the SPA-2100 are noticably better.

You have to enable the web server on the WAN port, which is done in the Voice configuration (strangely enough).

Web admin access under the system tab has been enabled, but I still can't brouse the adapter's configuration utility. Do I need to assign a static IP address to the adapter within it's setup utility? (The adapter currently is set for a DHCP connection type.) Or should I do a port forwarding on the router? My router has a LAN IP address of 192.168.0.1. I tried resetting the router IP address to 192.168.0.2, but wasn't able to browse the Internet after doing that, so I reset the router back to 192.168.0.1. (I thought there might be a conflict with the SPA-2100's address, which is 192.168.0.1.) IP addressing and port forwarding are confusing to me. Note that, because the adapter is configured ahead of the router (i.e., LAN port on the adapter is plugged into the WAN port on the router), the adapter doesn't show up as an attached device within the router's configuration utility.

It appears that both your SPA-2100 and your router are assigning addresses in the same 192.168.0.xxx address space. I recommend that you go into your router's admin page and change its LAN settings to assign LAN-side addresses in the 192.168.1.xxx range. Then you will be able to reach through the router to get to the 2100's admin page at 192.168.0.1.

With the router also using 192.168.0.xxx, it was seeing 192.168.0.1 as simply an unused address within its own internal numbering space.
