| Ok, here's my setup : Cable Modem -> Linksys Router -> (Port 1 : Computer) and (Port 2 :Sipura 2100) Is there an easy way to access the Sipura settings without plugging in my computer directly to the PC port of the Sipura? I tried plugging in the PC to another port on my router but it didn't work. I don't want to use the Sipura 2100 as a router only as a VOIP device. TIA |

| you can do three things **** 110# gets ip address. Put that in you webbrowser with http://whateveripaddress but if you dont get ip address than connect directly the PC PORT OF YOU SIPURA ADAPTER TO YOUR COMPUTER(ONLY THE PC PORT TO YOUR COMPUTER AND NOTHING ELSE NOT EVEN YOUR ISP MODEM) ) At the back of adapter where it says PC connect one end of cable to PC port of adapter and other end to your computer 3) Connect power supply wait for few seconds 4) Go to your web browser (you might get the message page cannot be displayed don’t worry your internet might not be working )and type this address http://192.168.2.1( if you cant get sipura page by typing this address than follow the instruction HOW TO FIND DEFAULT GATEWAY and type that address) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO FIND MAC ADDRESS Click Start Click Run type cmd (you will get the black screen) Type on this black screen ipconfig/all and hit enter you will get bunch of info. Note down the info where it syas PHYSICAL ADDRESS.it should be a combination of numbers and letters make sure you note down these numbers with out any spaces and dashes. Copy this number on Sipura page wher it says CLONED MAC ADDRESS Click submit all changes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO FIND DEFAULT GATEWAY ADDRESS Click Start Click Run Type cmd (You will get the black screen) Type on this black screen ipconfig/all and hit enter you will get bunch of info. Note down the info where it says DEFAULT GATEWAY .it should be a SET of numbers Copy this number on YOUR WEB BROWSER you should be able to see Sipura page YOU CAN EMAIL ME IF YOU STILL HAVE PROBLEM Good Luck SYED CLASSICSYED@YAHOO.COM |
