I have set up 3000 to work with asterisk (going to PSTN line), I can accept calls and I can make PSTN calls from FXS port and SIP phone. However, I'm having a problem with unblocking called id (*82). 1. I set up outgoing calls to look something like this: exten => _NXXXXXX,1,Dial(...) Is there an easy way to add *82 and other vertical services here or do I have to do: exten => _*82NXXXXXX,1,Dial(...) 2. This is a bigger problem. Once I actually put *82 into the dialing string, sipura rejects it: WARNING[17234]: chan_sip.c:6846 handle_response: Forbidden - wrong password on authentication for INVITE to '"Ext1" <sip:asterisk@x.x.x.x>;tag=as34eb1daf' Exactly the same setup withs without using *82. I've searched the forums and found people had similar problems but I can't find any solutions. I've tried to downgrade firmware to 2.0.13 form 3.1.7 but that didn't make any difference. The only thing I didn't do was to reset to defaults after downgrading the software so I suppose that might be a problem. If anyone could even point me into the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Looked at tons of debugging messages and logging and found nothing that could help me solve this issue.

If you need to send *82 to the PSTN, try using "1182". If this is just for SIP, sorry I have no clue.

It is PSTN line and 1182 does work - thank you; I forgot it's possible to do it this way. Howerver, the larger question remains - why does it fail authentication with *82? I'd relly like to know what's causing it.

I don't know. mberlant had some thoughts on it a while back when I was having the same problem with *82, but I don't have any other info.

You probably already did this, however I just want to make sure since I did not see it above... It looks like you are trying to pass *82 to the PSTN via asterisk. Have you already removed the *82 option from the Sipura unit. If you are trying to make asterisk do the *82 service and also the Sipura you could be running into issues.
