| Hi Can any one tell me how to set up a labsetup using one connection in a sequence 1 modem to --- one 8 port ethernet switch - to two SPA3102 - from which one ethernet gets connected to PC .This to set up a lab environment where I can call from one telephone to another and different fucntionalities. thanks in advance. Naveen |

I would think the best thing to do would be to have an internet sharing router between the 3102's and the modem. This would put the two 3102's on the same sub network. The internet sharing router provides a DHCP server that would issue the sub addresses. You might be able to use the 3102's router capability, but it is not well documented and it wasn't designed to have another 3102 on the sub network behind it. To get the two phones to talk to each other on the same sub network you would not enable a STUN server or NAT mapping. |
