Exclamation Beware of SPA941 version 4.1.15 firmware

I updated a SPA941 to the latest firmware (4.1.15). Things look fine until the phone registers, then the screen gets corrupted with missing lines or reversed text.

At this point the phone is unusable. Pick up the handset and the speakerphone comes on and the phone dials the voicemail number. The only way to disconnect the call is to power cycle the phone.

Linksys doesn't have the old firmware on the SPA941 product page, but you can get version 4.1.12(a) of the firmware here.

Hi eric. I have 4.1.15 in about 20 spa 941 phones, and it seems to work fine against an Asterisk PBX.

I have so much problems with old 4.1.12a . Random reboots when pressing keyboard keys, but with 4.1.15 these ones dissapeared.

Regards

Alberto
