Default SIP Timer issues?

Hi we have a number of users with DTA 310s and BPA 410s running Leadtek firmware 16O and 17I .

Lately we have encountered an issue, aside from the normal issues with these units. I am certain that it is related to a SIP timer, but not sure I understand that part of the configuration on these units.

When a call is placed from one of these units and the call is cancelled (caller hangs up) . Instead of the call immediately disconnecting, we find that it keeps ringing at the receiving end for over 30 seconds. Thus if someone is trying to avoid reaching voice mail on an expensive destination, the voice mail can pick up long after the caller has hung up.

I must point out that we have these units registering to a few different SIP proxies and on most they are well behaved in this regard, however on the SER platform the behaviour above is the norm. I have tried adjusting all timer adjustments , but that seems to always come wuth some negative side effects.

I hope someone here know something about this and can offer help.
