| Hi This may seem silly, but what is the purpose of being able to log into your IPKall account. Ideally, I figured I could log in and change my settings (ie. SIP Phone Number) from say, an old user name at voipcheap.com to a new one when my freedays expired. Note: When I log into IPKall it says at the top "Update Account for" followed by my IPKall phone number. Because of this, I would assume one would be able to actually update their IPKall account, keeping their IPKall inbound phone number. Maybe I'm just having one of those days, but when I change my settings in my account and click submit, I get a message that says, "You have already signed up for an account." Is there any way to update my information at IPKall? I don't want or need a new account. I just want to be able to change the settings when the time is right. Just for the record, I've successfully called my IPKall phone number from my mobile phone and chatted with myself to verify that it worked from my computer (built in mic). The whole reason I'm wanting to know is because I was thinking that when my freedays expire @ voipcheap.com, I'll make a new user name (ie. account) at voipcheap.com to get more freedays. I was hoping I could then just change the "SIP Phone Number" in my IPKall account to the new user name at voipcheap.com. Any ideas on how I could do this? I wouldn't want to have to go through getting a new account at IPKall and voipcheap over and over again....I'd like to be able to keep my IPkall inbound phone number. Sorry if there's an easy solution to this that I am clearly overlooking, but a response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and support. |

| Hi. Hey thanks for responding to me! Unfortunately, I tested it just now, and it is still doing the same as before. I changed "Seconds to Ring before Hang Up" from 60 to 55 just to check. (I was afraid to touch my user name for fear that I may not be able to change it back...b/c of a bug or something) I then hit submit, and I received the same message about me already having an account. Thanks for all your help. If you could keep working on it that would be awesome. |
