Default Skypho compatible with IPKall?

Hello,

I am trying to figure out if the Italian VoIP provider Skypho (www.skypho.net) could work with IPKall free Seattle/Washington State phone numbers.

I have an Italian account/number from Skypho and I set it up with IPKall but I am getting a busy tone so far...

Thanks.

Ron
PS: Question - does the IPKall password should match the one set for the Skypho account. I guess not, but it could be... thx for any suggestion and feedback.

Default RE: Skypho compatible with IPKall?

Does Skypho support inbound URI calling? It had better, because the only way IPKall delivers calls is by relaying the inbound DID call to an outbound URI. You need to find out your Skypho account's URI and then put whatever is before the @ into IPKall's first box and whatever follows the @ into the second box.

IPKall has no capability and no desire to actually interface with your Skypho account.

Thank you mberlant for your email and tech info.

I just received an email from the Skypho team.
They simply stated that they do not support registering with IPKall.
Therefore I assume that they do not support outbound URI via their DID. Or the SIP number that they offer (which is a valid phone number for incoming calls from landline or cell phones) is not the actual URI account number. I know of VoIP services that give to the user a URI number as the account number and then a separate phone number for receiving calls.

I asked Skypho to give me some technical details. I could post them if they do give me further explanations.

Best.

Additional information

Beside Skypho the Italian VoIP provider Messagenet does not support URI forwarding.
Skypho stated in a recent email that they do not support forward URI also.
