| if IPKall ever shut down or took away my number due to something because when IPkall is signed up for they say something like reserve the right to take away your number, then I will have payed to receive call on a another site with IPkall for nothing, which is why I would also like a free site to receive the IPkall phone number? Please and thank you! Last edited by Mancala : June 14th, 2008 at 02:42 PM. |

| I program the internet telephones all the time, especially for friends outside of USA. IPKall phone numbers are mixed with a 6-digit number from Free World Dialup service. Please see this website first, and register with FWD. http://www.freeworlddialup.com/ Once you have a FWD number, you register it with IPKall which has given you the 10-digit Washington State number. Follow the instructions very carefully from this FWD webpage on programming your VoIP phone adapter: http://www.freeworlddialup.com/help/...ides&s=ipphone If you are successful in programming your VoIP adapter, you will hear a dial tone and be able to call out any 6-digit numbers and 800 numbers. Study carefully the FWD webpages, it got a lot of information that is very useful in cofigurating your adapters. Remember, the IPKall number is an additional number that works together with the FWD service. You need to use the IPKall number at least once a month or they will take it from you and assign it to someone else for inactivity. |

| First of all thanks for all the information. I checked the link and I found below piece of information , I am confused where I need to plug these information to . Is it to proxy , userid , password on Line 1 tab of 192.168.0.1/admin/voice/advanced page or .. FWD Standard Configuration Settings:

| I am interested in this too, especially since FWD launched a paid policy service, where new accounts created by d/ling fwd communicator or via my.fwd (how else can you create one?) remain free only for 30 days. If IPKall works only with FWD, than I guess i can't use it. |
