Hello there,
I registered for a number in the 425-906-xxxx range over five hours and a half ago for use with VoipCheap, but if I try to call it I still get the message that the number is not active yet.
I tried registering for another number in 206-456-xxxx range two hours and a half ago for another voip provider (EuteliaVoip, an Italian one), and I still get the same message. (I will eventually drop one, I did it to see if it depended on the area code).

Is there any hope to get the service at some point? Thank you very much.

same here... I helped a friend setup a ipkall number to forward to his FWD but the number is not valid. We setup the number last Saturday and it's still now working. Wonder what's happening there....

Ugh that's not very encouraging... Do you know about any other DID services (even non-free ones)? I only found unmantained ones or a few that work only with their own voip service.

VOIP Phone Service Providers, Broadband Business Phone, Free Internet Phone Service VOIP,Voice Over Internet Phone Service would be one I could think of.

Yep, I found that one a few hours ago. For some reason freedigits didn't let me log in (I got no error, but it kept bringing me back to the login page). Sipnumber, which is the very same thing, instead worked perfectly.

after 3 days we sent a mail to info@ipkall.com and since then the number is up and running.

i just tried to dial the ipkall number and now it does work, but in the meantime i started giving out the sipnumber number i had gotten and that had worked since moment one.
i guess i'll keep the ipkall one as a backup number, even though it provides no voicemail (sipnumber/freedigit does).
