| | Re: making call with ip kall using xlite 3.0 Regarding the one way audio problem, configure your ATA according to THIS (How to quickly configure your Linksys ATA).
Ipkall allows outbound toll free calls, but not other outbound calls. One way to make calls through ipkall is by using the following entry in your Linksys ATA dial plan.
<#0,:>[x*][x*].<:@voiper.ipkall.com>
To make a call, dial 0 for a second dial tone, then 800-555-1212 (example number), then press #.

| | Re: making call with ip kall using xlite 3.0 While reading your first post I overlooked your mention of X-Lite so I was thinking you were using an ATA. I am not familiar with X-Lite, but if you can dial a SIP number such as 8005551212@voiper.ipkall.com then the call should be completed through ipkall. As you are already using FWD, it may be simpler for you to use them for toll free calls. FWD requires that the toll free number begin with * so you would dial *18005551212 (example).
The SPA1001 is easy to configure, just follow instructions at the link in my previous post. |

I know what X-Lite is, but I can't use it because it runs only with Windows. I use Linux, not Windows.
If X-Lite is multi-line, and you can add another service but not do SIP register on that service, then you should be able to add voiper.ipkall.com as the proxy and then just select that line and dial 8005551212 (not 18005551212) to reach some toll free number.

| | Re: making call with ip kall using xlite 3.0 I am not sure if the current free version of X-Lite supports multiple SIP appearances. In the past there was an X-Lite version that could handle 10 SIP appearances. |
