Default ipkall & voipbuster

i tried to configure ipkall to work with voipbuster.

i tried to put in two servers : sip.voipbuster.com & sip1.sipdiscount.com

as phoen number i used my username.

non of them worked ! either i was transfered to the voicemail or now, i have a "wrong number"sound.

what should i do ?

Default RE: ipkall & voipbuster

As username on the IPKall website, enter exactly the number/name that you enter under UserID on Line 1 of the Sipura.

Why don't you forward the IPKAL number direclty to your IP?, bypassing any service provider completely?. If voipbuster doesn't have an outbound proxy, and u;re using a STUN server, you can forward the IPKAL number to your line1ID@your.ip.address (or your dynamic dns hostname for a provider like dyndns.org if your router has this feature.

Regards.

Can you please give details on how to direct calls from IPCALL or any other DID numbers
To SPA 3000? I have been trying to do this with no success yet. I am new at this game and all the info I have come across to, goes over my head.

Thanks in advance.

Default RE: Re: RE: ipkall & voipbuster

DracoFelis wrote a lengthy but clear post on all the settings he set his SPA3000 to to get an IPKall number to phone directly his Sipura, bypassing any providers. I know personally, I have IPKall forwarding to my SPA-2100 using many (but not all) of the setting Draco suggested in his post. The main fact is that you tell IPkall to forward, instead of to accountname @ sip.voipbuster.com , you tell it to forward to something more like this: voipbusteraccountname @ 111.24.53.65:5060.
