IPKALL was gracious enough to give me a FREE PSTN number. I didn't want to waste anymore of their resources by having another voicemail box on their system. I have an asterisk box with an 80 gig drive. It's more than enough to handle the voicemail for 2 people. I decided uncheck the IPKALL voicemail for the DID. When a person call the DID number: if IPKALL has enough lines open It send the call to The Asterisk box or (FWD) IF IPKALL doesn't have enough lines to handle the call It plays Person is Unavailable Not answering" (That's NOT Correct) It should give a FAST BUSY or "All lines are currently busy now Now. Please try your call later". By playing the "Person Unavailable" leaves the impression that the person either is not answering or picking up. In reality the call never made it through pass IPKALL system. It very confusing for the calling party I had someone call me on the IPKALL number while I talk to them on the Cell phone to verify this. The call never made it through. It should a matter of changing to a different "Allison" voice prompt that is played if you are congested and didn't sign up for voicemail. Maybe you have it setup as is for a reason. Ramman

I have been having a HUGE problem with busy phone circuits... I don't know the exact stat, but I would say at least one in four of all the caller inbound to my ipkall numbers are receiving the busy signal and/or message. Anyone know how I can reduce this percent?

99.9 % of the time you recieve the "Unavailable" message when the destination VoIP adderess is unreachable. You would recieve a slow busy signal if there were no available TDM lines, this has never been the case since IPKalls been online. If either of you would care to email me your IPKall number, I will take a closer look at it. IPKall Info@IPKall.com
