| Hi there, Last night I got my MTA6328-2re working again with Broadvoice. It was very simple, but I had trouble figuring it out. It was only a matter of unchecking a little box! Can you believe it? now it works great! I think it should be the same for all other VoIP companies out there, but who knows??? Hope you got yours working too! take care |

| this FWP/IPKALL that you mentioned, does it work for international calls? can you give me a few more details? (if possible) BTW I was reading more about it and found this thread, maybe it will help you... ***Any provider that allows inbound SIP calls should work with IPKall. And while some providers don't allow incoming SIP calls, there are still a lot of free VoIP providers (along with a moderate number of commercial VoIP providers) that do allow incoming SIP calls (and therefore are easy to setup with IPKall numbers). And FWIW the provider that IPKall specifically mentioned on their web site, FWD ("Free World Dialup", or FWD | Home ), is still one of the many providers that allow inbound SIP URI calls (in the case of FWD, the inbound proxy is fwd.pulver.com ). And while it's usually a lot easier to just use a free VoIP provider (or even your commercial VoIP provider, if they allow inbound SIP calls) as the target of your IPKall numbers, it's not always necessary. For example, here are the directions (yes, I developed that technique, and wrote those directions) on how to forward an IPKall number DIRECTLY to your LinkSys/Sipura VoIP adapter (bypassing ALL VoIP providers you may be using). And I know those instructions work, as that is how I receive calls on my IPKall number! SIP Broker Wiki : Inbound Calls Directly to your LinkSys or Sipura *** let me know if it worked for you!!! |

| when i mean FREE i was simply referring to getting a (American) Phone # to get one sigh up at FWD and then use that account and port it to IP-Kall (takes 1 day) so you get a free SIP account but it still cost you to dial out i was lucky to get a Grand Central Account and that how i dial out for free |
