Default Info on IX67 models

Can someone comment on the features of the IX67 FW Air or any of the other IX67 models.

I have been reading on the different features and options available for them, and I am somewhat confused. Can someone set me straight.

The base router/firewall is SIP aware and rewrites the packets from the SIP endpoints for proper operation. It also allows for 5 SIP endpoints to register with it on a custom domain. This allows for calling between endpoints, but it is unclear if all of them have to be behind a single IX67, or they can be at different locations.

To register more endpoints one can buy packs of 5 registrations, but I couldn't locate prices anywhere. It is also unclear if the base version registers with any ITSPs. The SIP Switch can certainly register with multiple providers among other features for $500, was mentioned in this forum.

I looked at the Voxilla store, and the only option for any IX67 is the VPN option for $110. Is the VPN option a hardware upgrade, which needs to be ordered at the time of purchase? Where can we get prices for the other options, and are they delivered via a firmware upgrade?

Thanks.

The SIP licenses can be done with license upgrades. I think the VPN might actually require additional hardware, as does the WiFi feature.

No the VPN is just a software add-on too. Only available for the IX66+ and the IX67 and newer models (i.e. not the older IX66).
