Default The FXO as PSTN Pass-Through Port

The Intertex IX67 FW GW has an FXO port. Can that FXO port be used as a PSTN Pass-Through port as well??? In other words, can you pick up the phone connected to this ATA and have the option of dialing-out over POTS/telco OR VOIP?

Default RE: The FXO as PSTN Pass-Through Port

As I understand it, yes, but it's not a "pass through" port. Basically your FXO port is treated as another VoIP destination, i.e. you can route certain calls to it. It just so happens that VoIP destination terminates on your attached PSTN line.

In the event of a power outage, your FXS port connects to your FXO port, so I guess in that sense, it is a pass through port.
