Default Has anyone made Asterisk and Iconnect work?
I played around with Asterisk to connect to Iconnect for hours with no success. I only need it to work outbound. Has anyone got this connection to work. if so can you share your Asterisk settings. I can make it work via an Sipura3000 and Xlite softphone no problem.

Thanks for pointing me to the sample configuration. I have tried that and about 50 other comibinations with no luck. I noticed that you cannot ping either "natrelay.deltathree.com" or "sipauth.deltathree.com". When I do an Asterisk "sip show peers" I see that Iconnect is unreachable with all the various trial and error configurations. The weird thing is that I can make it work with Xlite or the Sipura 3000.

I got it working finally. I was making the changes in the sip.conf file then doing a reload afterwards with asterisk and then I would do a test call. Usually in a linux or unix environment you do not have to reboot the workstation. Well guess what...after a reboot it now works. So I guess something got hung up with Asterisk.

That's good to know. I also don't think of rebooting when working in *nix.

you need to do a sip reload in order to get those changes added.

asterisk -r
> sip reload
