| Hi, I was such a pround owner of the HandyTone-486. Then I was making a big big mistake I found a file for updating the Grandstream. What I dont know was the fact it was written for a different phone with an PA1688-PQ processor. The Handy accepted the file without a problem but never work again. I'm shure the hardware is ok. Just my stupied mistake. No audio, no nothing. Just sometimes when I started them up he give ggrrrk in the phone. The led is blinking at 2 sec. rhytme. Normally every programmable device has a smal emergency boot. Just in off for the device to be back at live and able to eccept the real programma. But I cannot find this. Just an factory reset that cannot work at this device becouse I dont have any way at the moment to access the device. Please help me to bring this device back to live. Regards Erwinj |

| Dear sir, My HT 488 after upgrading to the latest firmware ( ....96) version is not able to access the FXO port when called from PSTN nor the phone rings from PSTN and so the calls can also not be forwared. All other fuunctions are OK. Grandsteam support suggests to upload ....86 firmware and I have a copy of that. Can you please help me how to upload this earlier firmware and is it safe to do it. Thanks K Iqbal |
