| I have a cable Internet connection. My wireless router is a Belkin F5D7231-4 and is connected to my cable modem. My Handytone HT486 is connected to the router and is placed in the DMZ. I'm trying to use Direct IP dialing to/from my Handytone and use X-Lite for this. Within the LAN, I can make successful calls from X-Lite to the HT486 and vice versa. But when dialing from an X-Lite client on the Internet to the HT486, the phone is ringing. But when answered, there is no voice. When dialing from the X-Lite client on the Internet to another X-Lite client on the Internet, everything works fine. This makes me believe that this is a configuration issue on the HT486. As the HT486 is in the DMZ, this could not be a port forwarding issue, right? Any suggestions on how to resolve the "no voice" issue? |
