HT488 No dialtone

Default HT488 No dialtone
Today i received my HT488. I configured FWD for testing. Below is the problem if anyone can help me get it working.
1. I have linksys WAG54G ADSL router.
2. Connected HT488 WAN to the switch port on WAG54G.
3. Connected Analog Phone to Phone port on HT488.
4. Set FWD account on FXS port setting on HT488.
5. Connected PSTN line to Line on HT488.

Problem:
1. When i press the button also, nothing happens.
2. I dont hear any dialtone when i pick the receiver.
3. I tried calling my FWD no from outside. Green light starts blinking "Call is coming" but i cannot answer the phone even.
4. I can access internet through LAN port on HT488.

Anyone please help.
Note: The PSTN line is working perferctly without HT488.
I am located in UAE.the landline cable used here is 4 pin.

i upgraded the firmware to latest.

Change the impedence of your FXS port to match the line.

i tried all the impedence setting available but no luck. any clue ? the cable is 2 pair. BRGY - YGRB. This phone was supplied by the telecom provider. Do u think i should try another handset?
