HT-502 - Config. for two seperate lines but both lines go to FX Port 2 only...
I have just received a brand new HT-502. I have two seperate SIP #s which I configured in the following two fxs-ports that are available. Here is a breif description of my setup:
FXS-Port #1
Account Active: Yes
SIP Server: IP address of my SIP provider
Outbound Proxy: Same as SIP Server
SIP User ID: XXX-XXX-4202
Authenticate ID: XXX-XXX-4202
Authenticate Password: Provided by my SIP provider.
All other features are default...
FXS-Port #2
Account Active: Yes
SIP Server: IP address of my SIP provider
Outbound Proxy: Same as SIP Server
SIP User ID: XXX-XXX-4203
Authenticate ID: XXX-XXX-4203
Authenticate Password: Provided by my SIP provider.
All other features are default...
The problem that I'm having is when I connect a touch tone phone to FXS - Port #1 I cannot dail out or call in though the status indicates that FXS- Port # 1 is "Registered".
Now if I connect a touch tone phone to FXS-Port #2 (XXX-XXX-4203) I can call out and call in fine.
Now If I call the number on FXS-port #1 (XXX-XXX-4202) then the phone will ring even though the phone is still plugged in FXS - Port #2....
I have called support on this issue already, but I'm still having this same issue.
Any help would be much appreciated.
