Default HT-488 Incoming PSTN calls don't ring

Just got a HT488 the other day... had it working great, sort of, had problems with calls dropping out and codecs so I decided to upgrade the firmware. No longer have these problems, but now, when I get an incoming call on the PSTN its as if the 488 doesn't recognize it at all - the status LED remains off the entire time.

I believe this is to do with the FXO ports impedence setting, the Australian spec is 220 Ohm + 820 Ohm / 120nF. This setting hasn't changed, and infact, trying every other impedence setting doesn't work either.

I can dial out on the PSTN via Asterisk with no trouble at all, so the FXO port is functioning.

Any ideas, or links to older firmwares that I could try?

Ok i have fixed it.
I downgraded the firmware to 1.0.3.86, this at the time was downloadable from
http://grandstream.org/firmware.html
As soon as i did this, it worked immediately, i suspect it may have something to do with the phone system here in the UK but i may be wrong.
