grandstream and syslog installation. Assistance??

I am relatively new and I want to set up the syslog so I can trace the 486/101
Followed the manual but I do not know except the debug level to full what IP do I put to the syslog entry
the IP where grandstream is installed, the one of the router, the one of the PC? or another one
Can someone give me some hints about which program also I have to install to get the logs??

It works for both - upgrades and logs.
Just don't forget to disable DHCP server inside TFTPD right after first start, or your local network can go hiwire.
