Ok, my HT488 is working rock solid.
Was a bit hard to configure, but I got it working like a charm... well... nearly.
All the incomming calls are forwarded to "s", and enters to my IVR perfectly.
The one-stage dialing out is working perfectly. I can dial out 055555555 directly from an analog phone in the FXS line of HT488, xlite soft phone or my new Siemens c450ip....
No echos or strange beeps... no delays...works the same with calls to regular land lines or cellular... Near perfect!
Now the only problem I have.
Caller ID works fine with an external callerid reader I have pugged in the PSTN line. Caller ID works perfectly if the call enters by the FXO port and is forwarded to the FXS line with an analog phone with callerid reader (without asterisk in the middle)
But, when i configure the "forward to Voip" in the basic settings to the "s" value (to use my IVR), or directly to an asterisk extension (6001 for example) It works ok forwarding the call, but the callerID in the softphones or IP phones came as "Device <1111>" (the correct extension number of the HT488 FXO port...)
After 3 or 4 hours looking in Google, some peoples reported HandyTones does not forward Caller ID info to asterisk extensions. But several other reports working....
No official info about Grandstream.... (asked to GS support, but still waiting)
Please, can somebody of yuo confirm that problem ???
Waiting for your kindly answer, hope U undestrand the main problem....
