Default How to configure HT 503 with voipcheap ?
Hi,

Scuse me for a stupid question ...
But :

My linksys 3102, like the third linksys routeur stoped to work (poor hardware) and I have got a great idea to take an HT 503.
My account is on VoIP cheap
And I try all possibilities and always "NOT COnnected"
My network is very simple :

ADSL => Philips Router => HT 503 => Téléphone
my pc is connected on the router


Someone can tell me in a simple word how to parameter my account VoIPcheap

Can you be more specific about which parameters you need? Which details are you looking for that do not appear in the example Grandstream configurations listed on the VoipCheap SIP page?

Of course, I have been make on the exemple (like HT 496) but, don't works.
I don't know what's missing or what's wrong ...
I have enter in fxs :

sip server : sip.voipcheap.com
outbound proxy : sip.voipcheap.com
sip user id : myusername
auth password : mypassword
name : my n° telephone registered on voipcheap
and than ...

thanks a lot for your help.

at the end of outbond proxy

at the end of the out bond proxy add the port like this
sip.voipcheap.com:5060

may be it will work

don't work nothing

Why this hardware is more difficult to configure a simple connection ?

VoIP is reserved only for the technical people ?

Ok,

I have solve the problem.

I have change on sip server the ip adress of voipcheap ( 194.221.62.198 )

And it work.

on telnet on the ht503 I have really dns server and gateway correctly configured.

Strange !!!

But it seems, when this hardware is more capricious ...

actualy this is a simple process, fist time i had the same problem, if you like open one account in fwd
http://www.freeworlddialup.com/help/...ides&s=ipphone then u can configure this very simply
you just change only few items, in basic settings at bottom give your account details, account no and proxy
fxs and fxo give your account details at top,
and advance setting just give stund server details
