config generator - invalid file error

i'm trying to generator configuration files for my Grandstream phones. I follow all the steps in the user guide and on the website. But when i try to upload the generated file through the PBX i always get the "Invalid File" message. any help with this long standing problem would be appreciated. thanks- Landon
