| HI friends, after getting worst service from MPINGI I am now ready to try http://www.telifu.com/why-telifu.php does anybody have experience with TELIFU ? MPINGI SUCKS |

| MPINGI sucks... very true.. i am also facing the same issues... i am also looking for some other VoIP option. I checked TELIFU provides phone in india with US number to which we can make unlimited calls from here. I guess you can use rocketVoIP.com (or vonage, packet8 etc) to activate the plan in US and then ship the adaptor to india. I used it earlier with sunrocket and it worked fine. Another option i am thinking getting 2 USB Phones for skype. I can hook up these phones at both ends... one at US and another in india. With these phones we can makes call to skype user network for free. Only drawback, you need to have a pc/laptop which should be always up & running. If anyone using skype phones to call india, please share your views/experience. |

I am also facing severe problems with working of MPINGI. My connection is from Reliance Communications. In this Reliance connection I have to log in every time I wish to connect. From ADSL modem the Lan cable goes to MPINGI WAN port, and from it's LAN port cable goes to PC. From PC I brouse a log in page and log in there, and it should connect. With only ADSL modem in line,no problems are there in connecting. But with MPINGI in line, it does not connet. Some times MPINGI works fine without doing anything and other times it does not work at all what ever I do.It works on it's whims. I have been breaking my head with both MPINGI and Reliance, both say they are right. I do not know who is wrong, may be I am wrong by putting my head in it. | I am looking at the option to have the VoIP phone in India. I was told sniptel seems to work fine and no issue getting setup. One of my friend has it for a about 10 months and he had no issue so far. They only support point to point kind of call. I was told they are also support US inbound number now. However, i could not find any information in their website www.sniptel.com Last edited by phoneboy12 : July 30th, 2008 at 01:19 PM. |
