TeleBlend open to the pubic at 15.95? About time...This forum is for issues that do not relate to either a specific provider or a specific vendors hardware. General issues that affect the advancement of VoIP as a whole. |

| I have asked this on a couple other forum's but I just haven't had any responses yet so i figured i would try here. I have heard that recently teleblend has opened up to the public and is now offering service to people other than the sunrocket refugees. I don't really know who to ask about this but their website seems to be completely re-done (www.teleblend.com) and a new logo put in place. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is I am going to have to think about switching to them seeing as its like 10 dollars less than what i'm paying right now at vonage for the same service... |
| |||
| This is cheaper than vonage, and I thought it was a pretty good deal at first look. But I did the math and Voicestick ends up being cheaper just because of overall rates and they dont charge you activation and other BS fees. |

| Yeah, that is true i just called and asked them and after activation and the gizmo it is about a $30 startup cost, which in reality isn't too bad. I plan on having my phone for awhile so in the long-run, saving $5 per month will actually end up saving me a lot of money. I also have heard a lot of good things about teleblend, have you heard anything about voicestick's service? I didn't even really know about them until you told me and even now i can't find too much information about them besides their website. It doesn't say anything on their website about allowing them to use your old phone number. Also, the powermail feature is something i am really interested in with teleblend that i can't see that voicestick offers that. I guess it allows you to see your call coming in and have it transfered to any phone number and pick it up there (i can transfer it to my cell phone). Also, haha i don't know if you saw this but the dot over the left "i" in voicestick's logo is a little left of the "i". Not that that matters at all...I just thought i would point it out. For some reason voicestick just comes across as being a "cheap"(not talking about money) company. Then again, I have never used it, if anyone has any experiences with it please let me know. |

| Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know that I did end up switching to Teleblend. After reading what everyone was saying about them i decided i would give it a chance, knowing that i could just switch back if i wanted to. That won't be necessary. They have charged me just what they said they would and no random fee's and my call quality actually seems better now (haha that might just be mental...). Not to mention setup and switch time was short. Either way i would recommend their service so far, and if anything changes I will be sure to let you guys know. |
