Default SPA3102--Is this possible?

Can the SPA3102 be used for connecting me to any where I want like calling card companies do?

I want to call my VoIP DID number at home from work. My SPA3102 at home then beeps asking me to enter the number I want to dial any where in the world and connects me to that number. All done over the internet.

I was told by a friend it is impossible to do because this is a VoIP to VoIP call forwarding. Is this true? Can the SPA2102 do this?

I came across this Site that has all the solutions I wanted and more. It is open source and free. You do all the short comings of the LinkSys hardware including sophisticated dial plans by using a programming language called Ruby. http://www.mysipswitch.com

You can also do it without any ATA using a DID from CallCentric or using one of their pstn access numbers, or you can do it with OneSuite using their access numbers.
