| Hy, I hope I'm on the wright place to ask for this kind of help. I have bean reading a lot about what PhoneBoy, Humba3, Mberlant, Eric, linksys-tstr and others that are responding and helping other people. About 4 month ago I bought: 1 - SPA9000, 1 - SPA-400, 4 - SPA-3102 and 8 - SPA942. And today Everything is working OK, thanks to you people. (Voxilla) My " MAIN PROBLEM " now is how to "Configured" the CFWD (Call Forward) , the Speed Dial and how to create a Directory List for the SPA942. Using the PSTN - Line of the SPA-3102. (Extensions) I need to use a lot the SPA-3102's , they can also help me with de "Disconnect TONE" here in my country. And many other things that I have to use. Now I have to DIAL " 9 " for a VoIP Line (SPA9000) a " 0 " for "ANY" of the the PSTN Lines (on the SPA-400) , a "3" for a PSTN Line on a (SPA-3102) , a "7" for a PSTN Line on a (SPA-3102) and "8" for a PSTN Line on the other (SPA-3102). When I dial directly on the a SPA942, "3" or "7" (Extensions of my 3102) and then wait for the Dial Tone, I can dial any number I want, that are allowed on my DP. But I need to do that also on the CFWD of many Phones-942 and on the SpeedDial. The only phone that is really working nice is my "Panasonic - Wirelless Phone" connected on the SPA9000 (FXS) Line. On that phone I can do "3PPPP91231234" and it works , or "7PPP43214321" everthing works, and those numbers are stored on the DIRECTORY List of that phone. I hope I can do this kind of thing also on the the SPA942 and SPA9000 , Creating this "PAUSE" is a very important step on my PBX now. Today I use 2 "Mobile Phone Lines" or Celular Lines on those "SPA-3102". Thank's in advance for any kind of help. Felipe, Just as a reminder, I'm using the lates Firmware in all my devices. | There's a pause Element in the DP syntax: Px where x is the number of seconds of the pause. The documentation mentions a hotline syntax only so I'm not sure if you can put the Px syntax in the middle of a DP element, but I guess it's worth a try. So, e.g. you'd use a substitution element in your DP, e.g. dialling <#7:7P3>xxx. or try to just use Px as the substitution sequence instead. And if you just use the SPA3ks to get additional PSTN lines, why not a second SPA400? |

Thank you for your reply, Maybe I did not made my self clear. I think my main problem is actually not on the SPA3ks but just on the SPA942. How to program/configured the PHONE (SPA942) if some one calls me and I am not on my desk, (Extension - 191) I want the "CFWD No Ans Number" to be something like this: get the LINE (PSTN - on the SPA3k) the "User ID" for that LINE is "7" and than dial my MOBILE phone number automatically. e.g. 7PPP91231234 = dial 7 WAIT FOR THE DIAL TONE and than dial 91231234 , OR . . . . if I'm going to put this on a DP, on what or which DP do I have to change (SPA3k or the SPA942) e.g. <#7:7P3>xxx. . . . . . My extension number is 191 Now my AA is:Auto Attendant Parameters AA Dial Plan 1: (*|<0:197>|<1:191>|<2:192>|<5:195>|<6:901155123456 7890>|<4:8>|<7:7>|<8:3>|<9:190>|<*1:291>|<*2:292>| <*5:9011551234567890>S0|<*6:9011551234567890>S0|<* 84:940712341234>S0|<*7:800@192.168.0.200:5090>S0|< *9:9011351234567890>S0|<*85:92122121212>S0) SIP on SPA9000, and everything is working Ok. I do not use "Group Line or Shared Extensions" PBX Parameters Call Routing Rule: (<:L1,3,4>9xx.|<:L2>0xx.) Line 2 is my SPA400 Humba3 , another thing that I still don't understand is how to get the "Dial Tone" of a "ESPECIFIC" Line of the SPA400. If I have 4 PSTN lines connected to it. Let's say, I need to use "Line 3" of the SPA400 (to make a CFWD), how can I do that Now when I dial " 0 " , I get a Dial Tone of 1 of the 4 Lines, but I DON'T KNOW which Line I'm using. I need to be in control of which Lines the CFWD is going to use (SPA400), depending just of the Extensions number. Sometimes the call is going to VOICE-MAIL , but other times it needs to go to: e.g. 9,,0118122341234 OR 0,,43211234 OR 7,,91231234 OR 8,,xxxxxxxxxxx (here in my country most numbers have 8 digits and the MOBILE numbers allways start with a 8 or a 9 and the calls to a mobile are very expensive) the cheaper way I found was for us to dial from a "Mobile to another Mobile". Here at my Company the employes are IN an OUT very often, so them, what I decided to do is: EXT. 191, 192, 193 and 194 allways use SPA-3102-User ID "7" (PSTN is connected to a MOBILE Line) to make their CFWD to their mobile numbers and EXT. 195, 196, 197 and 198 allways use SPA-3k-User ID "8" (PSTN is connected to another MOBILE Line) to make their CFWD. I allow PSTN-to-VoIP and VoIP-to-PSTN on those 2 Lines. Because this thing are not working the way I want, what I had to do is, when any employee are away from the office, he has to program in his phone, the CFWD to transfer his calls to a SECRETARY (Ext. 190) and than she is the one that "WILL HAVE TO TRANSFER EACH CALL" , to the their mobiles, and this way it works. But I don't want her to keep doing that because she has other things to do. How can I do that . . . . with the SPA400, I do not know yet how to work very well with the 400. Also, as I said before, the SPA3ks gives me CONTROL of the Disconnect Tone, and this is very important. Maybe, I just have to WAIT for Linksys to come out with a " NEW Firmware " for the SPA400 and SPA9xx Thank's again, in advance, for any kind of help Felipe Last edited by felipebrasil : April 21st, 2007 at 08:34 PM. |
