| I have sent my daughter in Waterloo Ontario a LynkSys PAP2T all set up with an Australian VoIP Provider, (MYNETFONE). so that we can communicate with each other. I tested the PAP2T b4 I sent it and it made & received calls, worked fine. But when she plugged it into her Router Dlink WBR-2310 she can't get a dial tone, (Power light is on) she can dial in to get the IP address but that all. She is with Rogers cable using Motorola SB-5100 modem and WBR-2310 Router, Any help would be much appreciated, as I am in Ustralia and trying to do this remotely is very difficult. | looks like it is for the wrong ip configuration or dns setting. it is better to send the configuration page and the pc's internet setting to compare. http://www.telecomchinasourcing.com/knowledge |

| No dial-tone means it's not finding, or not registering with the VoIP server. The D-Link uses default gateway of 192.168.0.1 Make sure the PAP2T is set for Gateway: 192.168.0.1 (Systems page). If PAP2T is set for DHCP, then the D-Link should now assing IP address to PAP2T. If not, you would need to either set for DHCP, or make sure the assigned IP address you give the PAP2T is within the subnet assignment range of the D-Link router.
