| I may be missing something here, but I'm not sure on how FWD works. Is there a way to make multiple SIP accounts ring on the same line on a SIP phone or ATA? I know that on say a Snom 320, you can have 12 or so SIP accounts ring on different "lines", but can you merge say a New York DID and a Detroit DID to ring on line 1 of a PAP2? THX  |

1) If you have an adapter and/or IP PBX that allows multiple VoIP "registrations" on the same line, you can just register to all the VoIP accounts and be happy. 2) Or, if you have a VoIP provider that supports multiple inbound phone numbers, you can just use that VoIP provider, and get the phone numbers you need. 3) Or, you may be able to forward one number to an existing number you already have your adapter setup for (assumes you have "call forwarding" ability on your new number). 4) Or, if your existing VoIP provider accepts inbound SIP URI (VoIP calls), and the new provider you want to add will let you forward inbound calls to a SIP URI (hopefully "for free"), you can just add the new provider (for inbound) that way. 5) Or, if your new provider will forward to a SIP URI, but your existing (registered in your VoIP adapter) provider won't, you may be able to use this trick: http://faq.sipbroker.com/tiki-index....%20or%20Sipura Quote:
