Default Learning VoIP

This is a message to the Voxilla folks and to the different moderators part of this portal.

This forum is very rich of information. In spite of this the actual body of information is lacking of structure that will ease quick fruition for the newbie or the very advanced member. Generally speaking many times is lacking in clarity (too techie or unclear question/answer).
If learning and/or self-learning is part of dealing with VoIP technology it would be "natural" to see it evolved into a more organic and structured method of learning. I would like to see maybe an e-learning course(s), or online tutorials or some workshop or classes at a college or similar.
This could be a source of revenue for whoever has the expertise and probably teaching skills to offer such classes.
Perhaps this idea is a violation to the hardcore self learners but truly after going through hundreds of postings in search of an answer (many, many hours of reading) probably it would be more effective to have a solid guideline and fundamentals regarding VoIP (written and visual).
Personally I am a "work-in-progress" learner, going from the Sipura manual to the forum and back (I have a SPA 2100 and 3000).
If there could be more and new options to improve my VoIP knowledge I would really take advantage of it.

Thanks.

Ron

Default RE: Learning VoIP

I know Global Knowledge offers a 5-day course in VoIP, which I am planning on taking in June. It's a week-long class that covers a wide range of things about VoIP. It's probably more than you're looking for, though. You're probably looking for something like "how the hell do I get these devices working" rather than getting the 10,000 foot view of VoIP.
